Opinione:
Questo romanzo chiude il ciclo della rivelazione, da cui si stacca il primo (per ora) seguito, The inibitor phase, che pur non essendo, a detta dell’autore, parte del ciclo, lo è – o meglio, se vogliamo vederla così, fa parte del ciclo più grande degli inibitori… ahem.
Comunque, un finale un po’ strano se si vuole, ma grandioso, come tutti i romanzi di Reynolds. Grande fantascienza, Rigorosamente HARD, anche se, bisogna dirlo, è chiaro che l’autore si è decisamente dovuto arrabattare con i limiti della fisica.
Ad ogni modo, un gran bel romanzo di chiusura… o quasi.
